Ask a Specialist 3.0 (Panelist Discussion, Networking & Mentoring with Dinner & Drinks)

Monday, November 18, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Maggiano's in Philadelphia. 

As General Dentists, sometimes we don't know our specialists well enough to feel like we are wasting their time when we ask questions. With our referrals, do we always send radiographs? How do I tell my specialist what I expect? How do I articulate my restorative plan? How do I best get in touch with you? 

These are some of the many questions general dentists have and this will be an opportunity to have them answered. We will have a panel of specialists from 7 different areas: Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Pediatrics, Orthodontics, Oral Medicine, Prosthetics and Endodontics. 

Registration Fee: $60.00 for Non-Members, $50.00 for ADA/PDA Members, $40.00 for PCDS Members, $30.00 for Dental Staff, $20.00 for Dental Residents and $15.00 for Dental Students.
Dinner and drinks are included. 2 CE Course Credits offered through AGD - Course Code 149 - Multi-disciplinary Topics

1).  Determine important information to include with specialist referrals.
2.)  Identify best approaches to communicate with a specialist.
3.)  Discuss and solve challenges with referrals.
4.)  Compare different specialties.
5.)  Learn what to communicate with patients about a visit to the specialist.
