CE Information for Diversity Dinner Series
Dr. Chinhua Y. Hsiao is a second generation dentist following in her father's footsteps. Additionally, three of her siblings are also dentists. She received her dental degree in India and then came to Philadelphia to pursue her D.M.D. from Temple University and her postgraduate certificate in Periodentology and Implantology from Temple University. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodentology and Implantology. She is also a diplomate and fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. In 2015, Dr. Hsiao became an assitant clinical professor at Temple University. Currently, she holds a Clinical Adjunct Faculty position at the Maxwell S. Fogel Department of Dental Medicine, Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Dr. Hsiao has extensive experience in all periodontal and dental implant procedures including extensive bone augmentation and sinus elevations. She has authored a chapter in the textbook "Dental Implant Treatment in Medically Compromised Patients." In addition, she attended the course, "Advance Bone and Soft Tissue Regeneration Techniques in Implant Therapy," at the world-renowned center for regenerative implant dentistry, the Urban Regenerative Institute in Budapest, Hungary. This advanced surgical technique contributes to the favorable long-term outcomes that Dr. Hsiao expectes for her patients.
Dr. Hsioa's hobbies include oil and acrylic painting and fishing. Currently, one o her Philadelphia skyline paintings is up in Project HOME.
