Why is PCDS hosting a Diversity & Inclusion Event?
PCDS prides itself on being inclusive and our Board of Governors and Committee leaders are extremely diverse. It's not a one size fits all package and we are aware that our members may be treating patients of all types of ethnicities and backgrounds. We feel it is important to educate our members on different cultures so that they are better equipped to care for the wide array of patients they may see. After all, our district is located in the city of "Brotherly Love!" Stay tuned for details on the upcoming dinners and cultures for 2025.
Where/When is this dinner being held?
At Han Dynasty an authentic Chinese Restaurant located at 3711 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
How much is Registration and What is Included?
Registration is $40.00 - PCDS Member, $60.00 - Non-Member, $50.00 - ADA/PDA Member, $30.00 - Dental Staff, $20.00 - Dental Residents and $15.00 - Dental Students and it includes Appetizers, Entrée, Dessert and 2 CE Credits through AGD/PACE.
Can I come for the Course and not eat?
Yes, if you would like to come and just attend the course and obtain your CE Credits, please email Lisa Gottlieb at lgottlieb@philcodent.org and she can arrange that.
What is the attire?
Business casual - srubs are okay!
How many CE Credits and when will I received my Certificate?
If you attend the full course (from 7:00 pm through 9:00 p.m.) you will receive 2 CE Credits through AGD/PACE Course Codes 490 Periodontics, 558 Diversity Inclusion/Cultural Competence and 770 Self Improvement. Certificates will be emailed within 2 weeks from the date of the course.
How Do I Register and Pay?
You can Register here. There will be information in the Registration on how to make a secure payment. We accept payment via Check, Credit Card (secure online through Square) and Venmo.
